Join us on the 10th of February to celebrate the Heritage at Castle
Added Tuesday 29th November 2016
On Friday 10th of February, the Castle will host a special Heritage evening. This fundraising event will highlight the wonderful collection that we have at Castle and the work done in our Heritage Campaign.
This is an opportunity for you to get an insight into the working museum side of the Castle. You will get to see our art collection that is not on display to the public, and our pieces will be explained during the Object Handling Session with our Castle Curator, Gemma Lewis.
Dinner will be followed by talks in the Senior Common Room, by Dr Adrian Green, Lecturer in Early Modern British and American History in the Department of History & Dr Andreas Pantazatos, Teaching Fellow in Ethics and Aesthetics, the Department of Philosophy. In these afterdinner talks, these two very exciting lecturers from Durham University will explore and challenge your perspectives of heritage.
The dinner in the Senate Suite is £95.00
This event is brought to you by the Durham Castle Trust with proceeds going to the Heritage at Castle Campaign, an integral and very special campaign to the College and Castle.
To book a place please contact the Alumni Officer Natalie Matias at email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you there.
